Sierra enhanced select MatchKing designs by adding an acetal resin tip, creating the Tipped MatchKing® (TMK) line. The addition of the tip reduces drag and delivers a higher ballistic coefficient, improving downrange performance. It also promotes smooth, reliable feeding in magazine-fed firearms.

Known worldwide for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are engineered for target shooting and are not recommended for most hunting applications. While they are sometimes used for varmint hunting, their construction does not provide the same consistent explosive expansion at comparable velocities as lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz, or Varminter bullets.

A barrel twist rate of 1×8" or faster is required for the 6mm 107gr TMK.
